DENMARK —Technical contractor Wicotec Kirkebjerg, an operating entity under Denmark-based building construction and civil engineering group Per Aarsleff Holding, has executed an agreement to acquire fully owned equity in West Zealand entity Rent-Tech. The transaction encompasses Rent-Tech's main subsidiaries Multi-Tech and Asger G. Jørgensen, alongside a 50.5% controlling stake in El-Centret Højby. Per Aarsleff Holding is a Danish construction and infrastructure enterprise operating internationally across civil engineering, foundation work, and technical contracting solutions.
Under the transaction terms, the consideration reaches up to DKK 597.5 million on a cash and debt-free basis, subject to customary closing adjustments. The structure combines an initial cash disbursement at closing with performance-linked earnout mechanisms. During fiscal 2025, the combined acquiree entities generated DKK 700 million in aggregate revenue and achieved an EBIT of DKK 88 million. Completion remains contingent upon regulatory approval from antitrust authorities, anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2026, with financial consolidation scheduled for the 2026/27 financial year.
The strategic takeover significantly enhances technical service capabilities in key regional commercial centers, including Sorø, Holbæk, Kalundborg, Hvalsø, and Korsør. Multi-Tech brings specialized technical installation and continuous maintenance expertise tailored to high-precision manufacturing and pharmaceutical operations. Complementarily, Asger G. Jørgensen provides specialized industrial steelwork and piping capabilities. The integration adds approximately 500 skilled professionals to Wicotec Kirkebjerg's operations, expanding resource depth across Denmark's western industrial corridors.
This consolidation highlights accelerating demand for integrated maintenance and engineering contractors across Denmark's life sciences and advanced manufacturing hubs. By integrating specialized pipework, electrical, and mechanical maintenance competencies, main contractors can capture higher-margin, recurring service contracts alongside primary capital infrastructure builds.
