International Holding Company (IHC) is expanding into the deeptech and satellite sectors by acquiring an 80% stake in Marlan Holding, positioning itself at the forefront of the Middle East's emerging space infrastructure market.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES; UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Abu Dhabi's conglomerate scene is witnessing a major shift toward high-tech domain expansion as International Tech Group SP LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of International Holding Company PJSC (IHC), initiates procedures to acquire an 80% equity stake in Marlan Holding RSC Ltd. The completion of the transaction remains subject to necessary regulatory approvals.

International Holding Company PJSC is a publicly listed holding enterprise headquartered in Abu Dhabi, managing a diverse international portfolio of commercial, industrial, and technology investments. Marlan Holding operates as an investment holding company specializing in deeptech assets and space economy developments, notably holding a joint venture named Orbitworks alongside US startup Loft Orbital. Orbitworks serves as the Middle East region's premier private space infrastructure outfit, running an advanced facility dedicated to satellite assembly, system integration, and testing.

This strategic move accelerates the commercialization of space infrastructure across the Middle East, transforming regional technological capabilities. By absorbing Marlan Holding, IHC directly links its extensive financial resources to cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing and satellite assembly, accelerating the transition from traditional economic models to high-value technology industries.

The deal directly impacts the aerospace, defense, and telecommunications sectors by enhancing local manufacturing ecosystems. Sovereign entities, regional satellite operators, and private enterprises across the Middle East stand to gain from localized satellite integration capabilities, reducing reliance on external defense and communications hardware providers.

For institutional investors and market participants, the acquisition highlights growing momentum behind M&A activities targeting space technology and deeptech ventures in the region. Capital deployment into private space infrastructure indicates robust long-term demand for localized satellite data, connectivity, and industrial automation capabilities, marking a crucial step in diversifying regional investment portfolios away from legacy asset classes.
