Adani Green Energy has commissioned a 185 MW wind power facility in Gujarat through its subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Ltd. This development increases the group’s total operational renewable capacity to 17,472.2 MW, strengthening its position in the Indian sustainable energy market.

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully commenced power generation at a new 185 MW wind energy site located in Khavda, Gujarat. Following the receipt of necessary regulatory clearances on February 28, 2026, the facility transitioned to full operational status on March 1, 2026.

The project was executed via the company’s step-down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Ltd. AGEL is a prominent Indian renewable energy firm and a key component of the Adani Group, focusing on the development and management of utility-scale solar and wind projects. This expansion brings AGEL’s cumulative operational renewable portfolio to 17,472.2 MW. The move underscores a strategic focus on the Khavda region, which is evolving into a critical hub for large-scale decarbonization efforts in India. By scaling its wind capacity, the company is diversifying its generation mix to ensure more consistent grid contributions, as wind power often complements solar output cycles. For stakeholders and investors, this milestone reflects a continued trajectory toward achieving national clean energy targets.

The industrial sector in Gujarat stands to benefit from increased localized green energy availability, while the broader renewable energy market sees further consolidation of AGEL’s leadership. The successful integration of this 185 MW asset demonstrates technical execution capabilities in high-potential wind corridors, signaling long-term stability for India’s power infrastructure and sustainable investment climate.
