Al Yamamah Steel Industries has signed a SAR 118.63 million contract with Algihaz Contracting Company to supply steel towers for the construction of a 380 KV ultra-high-voltage transmission line in Saudi Arabia’s Western Region. The one-year agreement is scheduled to begin generating financial impact in Q1 2027, with deliveries starting in March 2027.

SAUDI ARABIA —Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. has signed a SAR 118.63 million contract with Algihaz Contracting Company to supply steel towers for a project to construct a 380 KV ultra-high-voltage transmission line in Saudi Arabia’s Western Region. The contract was signed on 05 October 2026, with Al Yamamah Steel Industries serving as the supplier and Algihaz Contracting Company as the contracting counterparty.

Under the agreement, Al Yamamah Steel Industries will manufacture and supply steel towers required for the transmission line project. The contract has a duration of one year, while supply activities are scheduled to begin in March 2027. The company expects the financial impact of the agreement to start appearing in its results from the first quarter of 2027.

The award is linked to the development of a 380 KV ultra-high-voltage electricity transmission line in the Western Region, placing the contract within Saudi Arabia’s broader power transmission infrastructure activity. Steel towers form a critical structural component of overhead transmission networks, supporting conductors and enabling the construction of high-capacity electricity corridors.

Al Yamamah Steel Industries is a Saudi industrial manufacturer involved in steel products and related infrastructure components. Algihaz Contracting Company is a Saudi contracting business active in the delivery of electrical and infrastructure projects, including power transmission works. Their roles in this agreement connect steel manufacturing capacity with the execution requirements of a major electricity transmission development.

The contract provides visibility into future demand for fabricated steel structures associated with high-voltage grid projects and could support activity among manufacturers, engineering contractors and suppliers serving Saudi Arabia’s electricity infrastructure market. The one-year delivery period also establishes a defined order pipeline for Al Yamamah Steel Industries beginning in 2027.

For investors and market participants, the SAR 118.63 million agreement represents a material order that is expected to contribute to Al Yamamah Steel Industries’ financial performance from Q1 2027. No related parties were identified in connection with the contract, while the March 2027 supply start provides a clear operational milestone for the project.
