UNITED STATES OF AMERICA —APTIM has been selected as one of 10 prime contractors under the US Department of the Navy’s $997 million Global Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). The five-year contract is administered by the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) and covers fuel infrastructure requirements at US Navy and Marine Corps locations worldwide.
Through the contract vehicle, APTIM will compete for individual task orders involving the construction, maintenance, repair, inspection and testing of petroleum infrastructure. The scope also includes design and engineering services for pipelines, fuel storage tanks, POL facilities and related equipment, allowing the Navy and Marine Corps to procure work as specific requirements arise.
The award provides a framework for sustaining and upgrading fuel infrastructure across locations inside and outside the continental United States. Such infrastructure is critical to the storage and distribution of petroleum products supporting military operations, making maintenance and modernization of these assets relevant to defence readiness and installation resilience.
Because the $997 million figure represents the maximum cumulative value across all 10 contractors, it does not constitute a $997 million award to APTIM individually. Actual revenue for APTIM will depend on task orders won under the multiple-award vehicle. The arrangement therefore gives the company access to future Navy infrastructure work while providing the government with multiple qualified contractors for project-specific requirements.
The contract is scheduled to remain active through August 2031. APTIM is an infrastructure and environmental services company providing engineering, construction and related technical services to government and commercial customers.
