FRANCE —Ardian has completed the acquisition of a 73.2MW operational wind farm portfolio located across Sweden and Finland from an investment vehicle managed by German asset manager KGAL. Executed through its dedicated regional platform, Enordic Evergreen, the transaction expands the overall footprint of the Ardian Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF) in the Nordic region to 350MW.
The acquired assets comprise three fully operational projects equipped with tier-one turbine technology. Two of the installations are situated within the SE3 price zone in southern Sweden, recognized as one of the most advantageous pricing areas in the Nordics. The remaining capacity is located in Finland, where power price dynamics are increasingly supported by rising electricity consumption from regional data centers.
Ardian plans to integrate the new wind assets into its regional operational framework, utilizing its proprietary data analytics platform, OPTA, to optimize asset performance, lower operating expenses, and secure synergies across the broader Enordic Evergreen fleet.
Headquartered in Paris, France, Ardian is a global private investment firm managing and advising approximately USD 200 billion across private equity, real assets, and credit. Founded in 1996, the firm operates through 22 offices worldwide and oversees more than 10GW of clean energy capacity across Europe and the Americas.
