INDIA —ArMee Infotech has secured two Letters of Award from Bondada Engineering for the execution of Balance of System works on a 600 MW solar power project in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. The combined contract value is INR 7.40 billion, comprising INR 3.75 billion for the 300 MW Block 1 package and INR 3.65 billion for the 300 MW Block 3 package.
The awarded scope covers the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar plants’ Balance of System components. ArMee Infotech will also deliver the associated power evacuation infrastructure required to connect the generated electricity to the relevant network. The contracts further provide for three years of operations and maintenance, along with annual maintenance services for specified plant equipment.
The awards expand ArMee Infotech’s involvement in utility-scale renewable energy construction and add a substantial solar execution program to its order pipeline. For the Indian solar industry, the project illustrates continued demand for contractors capable of managing the electrical, structural and infrastructure components that sit alongside core photovoltaic generation equipment.
Fatehgarh is an established renewable energy development area in Rajasthan, making the project relevant to the state’s large-scale solar build-out and associated transmission infrastructure. Execution of the two packages will require coordinated procurement, construction, testing and grid-related activities, while the extended maintenance component provides a continuing service obligation after commissioning.
ArMee Infotech operates across technology infrastructure and renewable energy solutions, including EPC activities in the clean-energy sector. Bondada Engineering is an Indian infrastructure services company active across renewable energy, telecommunications and railway infrastructure. The latest awards strengthen the commercial relationship between the two companies while positioning ArMee Infotech to participate in the delivery of additional large-scale solar capacity in Rajasthan.
