Asarian Energy has approved a 4,500-meter infill drilling campaign at its Namibplaas uranium deposit in Namibia. Scheduled to begin in late 2026, the 17-hole program aims to enhance geological confidence and convert Inferred resources into Indicated status for an updated estimate.

NAMIBIA —Asarian Energy Limited has authorized an advanced infill drilling initiative targeting its Namibplaas uranium asset, located within Exclusive Prospecting Licence 3638 in Namibia. The exploration program is structured to refine geological data and upgrade mineral classifications to strengthen the deposit's overall resource profile. Asarian Energy Limited is a Canadian-based mineral exploration and development firm focused on advancing uranium deposits in Southern Africa.

The scheduled work program comprises 17 drill holes combining reverse circulation and diamond core techniques, encompassing approximately 4,500 meters of total drilling. Field operations are slated to commence between late October and early November 2026. The primary objective of this operational phase is to validate historic drill results, confirm mineralization continuity, and transition portions of the current Inferred Mineral Resource into the higher-confidence Indicated category. This analytical output will directly feed into a revised Mineral Resource Estimate for the broader Norasa Project area.

This developmental step highlights the ongoing strategic interest in African uranium exploration, driven by sustained global demand for nuclear energy feedstocks and supply security. Upgrading mineral resources from inferred to indicated categories is a crucial risk-reduction milestone required before technical pre-feasibility and economic studies can progress. For Namibia, a major global supplier of nuclear fuel, continued deposit evaluation reinforces its status as a primary hub for international mining investment.

From an investment and strategic viewpoint, transitioning Inferred resources into Indicated status enhances project bankability and asset valuation. Investors and energy market stakeholders closely monitor resource upgrade campaigns, as higher-confidence geological models lower technical execution risks for future commercial mine development. Successful resource conversion at Namibplaas could accelerate the overall development timeline for the integrated Norasa uranium asset, positioning the operator to capture market share amid tightening nuclear fuel supply chains.
