Axelerated Solutions Co. has partnered with BIM Capital to launch a SAR 675 million Shariah-compliant fund to construct and operate two 10 MW artificial intelligence-ready data centers in Saudi Arabia.

SAUDI ARABIA Axelerated Solutions Co., a Saudi Arabian technology and communications provider, is entering a major joint digital infrastructure initiative with financial manager BIM Capital to develop two high-capacity data centers designed specifically to handle artificial intelligence workloads. Under the agreement, the duo will establish the BIM Capital DC-Infrastructure Fund, a private, closed-ended, Shariah-compliant investment vehicle targeting a total capital value of SAR 675 million, with provision for further scale across future execution phases.

The investment vehicle will fund the engineering, construction, and long-term facility management of two Tier III data centers, each initially featuring a 10 MW capacity and expandable up to 20 MW per facility. Axelerated Solutions will execute the design and build under a fixed lump-sum engineering, procurement, and construction arrangement, while subsequently managing ongoing operation and maintenance to ensure a minimum operational availability threshold of 99.982 percent over a 10-year term. In addition to serving as a key contractor, Axelerated Solutions will take an equity position as an investor in the fund, receiving fund units partially in lieu of design and construction fees upon achieving project milestones.

This deployment highlights the intensifying demand for specialized, high-density computing infrastructure across the Middle East. Driven by regional digital transformation mandates and national AI strategies, Saudi Arabia is rapidly expanding its hosting capacity to support next-generation compute workloads. By combining institutional capital management with local technical execution, this structure offers a scalable model for meeting the high capital demands of large-scale digital infrastructure.

For technology vendors, real estate developers, and institutional investors, the venture underscores a growing shift toward structured fund vehicles to de-risk and finance capital-intensive digital assets. Establishing specialized AI-ready centers enhances compute resiliency within the Kingdom, positioning enterprise stakeholders and local industries to scale advanced digital services seamlessly while meeting strict data sovereignty standards.
