AXISCADES Technologies has approved the acquisition of a majority stake in Bengaluru-based Cloud Wave Technologies for an enterprise value of INR 2.6 billion. The strategic move enhances AXISCADES' precision machining and component fabrication capabilities for global aerospace, defence, and semiconductor clients.

INDIA AXISCADES Technologies has agreed to purchase a majority stake in Bengaluru-based Cloud Wave Technologies in a transaction valuing the target company at an enterprise value of approximately INR 2.6 billion. Headquartered in Bengaluru, AXISCADES Technologies is a publicly traded engineering and technology solutions provider operating across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, offering product-based aerospace, defence, semiconductor, and electronics systems. Its target, Cloud Wave Technologies, founded in 2014, is an AS9100D-certified precision manufacturing entity operating seven facilities across Bengaluru, delivering specialized machining, sheet metal fabrication, plastic injection moulding, and additive manufacturing solutions.

The acquisition creates an integrated manufacturing platform designed to capitalize on expanding domestic procurement requirements from agencies such as the Aeronautical Development Agency, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, and the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Concurrently, AXISCADES is establishing a 240,000-square-foot Centre for Advanced Manufacturing across a 20-acre campus in Devanahalli Aerospace Park. Integrating Cloud Wave's operational capacity into AXISCADES' broader network provides the combined entity with immediate precision production lines to serve Tier 1 suppliers and global original equipment manufacturers across North America and Europe.

This transaction reflects broader consolidation within the precision engineering supply chain as aerospace, defence, and semiconductor original equipment manufacturers increasingly diversify their global sourcing operations toward India. Cloud Wave Technologies is projected to generate INR 1.8 billion in revenue with an EBITDA margin of 22% in financial year 2027. By absorbing Cloud Wave's existing seven production units, AXISCADES directly addresses critical domestic capacity bottlenecks in complex metallic component fabrication and surface treatments.

For commercial investors and corporate stakeholders, the deal establishes a scaled, well-capitalized domestic precision manufacturing partner capable of fulfilling major export contracts alongside national defence programs. The transaction provides Cloud Wave with institutional capital and global market reach, while positioning AXISCADES to capture higher-value manufacturing workloads across high-technology sectors.
