TechnipFMC has secured a contract valued between $75 million and $250 million to supply flexible flowlines and risers for Azule Energy's West Hub Tails offshore project in Angola, driving subsea infrastructure expansion for the Agogo field development.

Azule Energy has engaged subsea technology supplier TechnipFMC to deliver flexible flowlines, risers, and associated hardware for the West Hub Tails project off the coast of Angola. Under the agreement, the subsea infrastructure will connect production streams from the West Hub area directly into the Agogo Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. TechnipFMC will register the contract booking within its third-quarter inbound orders for 2026.

This contract underscores the ongoing capital investment in West Africa's deepwater hydrocarbon basins, specifically within Angola's offshore Block 15/06. By expanding subsea tie-backs to central floating production facilities like the Agogo FPSO, field operators can extract incremental reserves from satellite deposits while optimizing existing offshore assets.

The agreement strengthens the commercial relationship between energy operators in Angola and international subsea engineering firms. For energy producers, fast-track subsea extensions reduce time-to-first-oil for secondary reserves. For supply chain participants, sustained order flows in flexible pipe manufacturing signal resilient demand across deepwater developments in West Africa and Latin America.

Subsea engineering and manufacturing providers remain pivotal to offshore energy logistics as operators prioritize high-margin deepwater assets. Securing multi-phase subsea packages in established offshore blocks allows engineering firms to optimize production schedules and stabilize order backlogs amid shifting global macroeconomic conditions.

TechnipFMC is a global energy services company specializing in subsea and surface technology solutions for traditional oil and gas developments as well as emerging energy sectors. Headquartered in Newcastle, United Kingdom, the company operates across major offshore basins worldwide, employing approximately 22,000 professionals.
