Bitdeer AI has entered a decade-long data center service agreement in Malaysia for a new 67MW campus. The site expands the firm's regional capacity to meet growing enterprise demand for high-performance liquid-cooled artificial intelligence compute infrastructure.

MALAYSIA —Singapore-headquartered Bitdeer AI has entered into a 10-year data center services agreement for a new 67-megawatt campus in Malaysia, designated as A901. Construction and engineering plans specify that the site will feature liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 architectures designed for advanced enterprise workloads. Initial capacity deployment is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, with full operational capacity expected by the second quarter of the same year. This establishment adds a third operational hub in Malaysia, joining existing footprints in Cyberjaya and Johor.

Bitdeer AI, operating under Bitdeer Technologies Group, provides specialized cloud computing infrastructure and artificial intelligence platform services. The enterprise operates data center facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia to support high-density computational requirements.

The expansion increases the provider's total secured data center capacity to roughly 273.5 megawatts across its network in Malaysia, Norway, and the United States. This commitment represents approximately 78% of the company's broader strategic target to secure 350 megawatts of capacity by early 2028. Uncontracted capacity across the network remains subject to strong market demand, with commercial discussions representing a potential pipeline value exceeding $10 billion.

Demand for advanced processing capacity in Southeast Asia continues to outpace available supply as enterprise adoption of large-scale artificial intelligence models accelerates. By securing specialized liquid-cooled infrastructure, cloud providers can accommodate higher rack densities and superior thermal efficiency required by modern graphic processing units. This deployment enhances regional infrastructure maturity and positions Southeast Asia as a critical hub for global technology operations.

For enterprise customers and institutional investors, the expansion highlights the shifting economics of computational infrastructure toward specialized, high-density environments. As computational requirements escalate, data center operators that secure early access to power, cooling capabilities, and geographic diversity are better positioned to capture long-term enterprise cloud contracts and maintain service stability across international markets.
