Bondada Engineering Limited has secured a balance of system contract from NTPC Green Energy for a 600 MW solar project in Rajasthan. Valued at 8.16 billion rupees, the engineering, procurement, and construction agreement bolsters Bondada's renewable energy portfolio, bringing its total solar order book to approximately 5.3 GWp.

Bondada Engineering Limited has received a Notification of Award for balance of system works involving a 600 MW solar photovoltaic facility in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. Issued by NTPC Green Energy Limited, the contract encompasses Blocks 1 and 3 of the project and is valued at 8,160 million rupees. According to official disclosures, the scope includes comprehensive design, engineering, and site development, alongside three years of operational maintenance.

The project is slated for completion within 16 months. NTPC Green Energy Limited operates as the dedicated renewable energy arm of NTPC, India’s state-owned power conglomerate. Bondada Engineering Limited provides integrated infrastructure solutions, specializing in engineering services for the telecommunications and renewable energy sectors.

This development marks a significant expansion for Bondada, increasing its aggregate solar order book to roughly 5.3 GWp. For the broader industry, this contract highlights the aggressive deployment of large-scale solar capacity in Rajasthan, a key hub for India's transition toward sustainable energy. The project’s reliance on the balance of system model emphasizes the growing demand for specialized engineering firms capable of managing complex installation phases for state-led utilities.

For investors, the award underscores the steady pipeline of government-backed renewable projects available to specialized infrastructure providers. The tight execution window suggests a shift toward rapid deployment cycles, requiring robust supply chain management. This contract reinforces the stability of revenue streams for firms integrated into the national green energy roadmap.
