UNITED STATES OF AMERICA —The Boyd Group, a leading North American automotive repair operator, has confirmed that it has agreed to acquire Joe Hudson's Collision Center (JHCC) from TSG Consumer Partners for $1.3 billion. The move marks one of the largest transactions in the collision repair industry and represents a significant expansion of Boyd’s U.S. operations.
With the addition of 258 repair centers across 18 U.S. states, primarily concentrated in the Southeast, Boyd’s total number of locations will increase to 1,273. JHCC reported $722 million in revenue for the twelve-month period ending June 30, underscoring its strong market presence and operational scale.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2025.
For industry stakeholders, the transaction underscores continued consolidation within the automotive aftermarket sector, driven by rising vehicle complexity, insurer partnerships, and the need for capital-intensive equipment. Investors will likely assess integration execution, margin performance, and potential synergies as Boyd deepens its presence in the competitive US collision repair landscape.
