INDIA —Ceigall India Limited's wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited, has successfully energized an additional 5 MW solar power unit at Ranjangaon Deshmukh within the Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra. This latest addition brings the total operational capacity at the specific project site to 10 MW. The facility feeds power directly into the 33/11 kV local substation managed by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited under a formal power supply arrangement.
The newly operational capacity forms an integral component of a broader 147 MW solar development initiative currently being executed under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 framework. This state-level government program is strategically designed to bolster decentralized daytime electrical supply specifically tailored for agricultural utility feeders, thereby stabilizing rural power grids and optimizing resource allocation.
The ongoing deployment carries considerable significance for regional energy infrastructure and renewable targets by accelerating decentralised green power integration.
