Ceigall India JV secures INR 9.18 billion EPC contract for Jaipur Metro Phase-II

A joint venture led by Ceigall India Limited has been awarded an INR 9.18 billion contract to develop a portion of the Jaipur Metro Phase-II. The 34-month project includes constructing 10.8 kilometers of elevated viaducts and ten stations, significantly expanding the city's transit infrastructure and Ceigall’s domestic order book.

A joint venture led by Ceigall India Limited has secured a contract valued at INR 9.18 billion for the development of the Jaipur Metro Phase-II project. According to official regulatory disclosures, the partnership which includes SAM India Builtwell will execute the design and construction of a 10.8-kilometer elevated viaduct and ten elevated stations. Ceigall India Limited is an infrastructure construction company focused on specialized civil engineering projects, including bridges and transit corridors.

The project, awarded by the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation, operates under an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) framework and is slated for completion within 34 months. The scope involves a specific stretch from Prahladpura to Pinjrapole Gaushala, emphasizing core structural work and a dedicated spur line to the depot.

This development is a significant indicator of the ongoing expansion of urban transit networks across India’s growing metropolitan areas. For the construction and engineering sectors, the contract highlights the government's sustained capital expenditure on infrastructure to alleviate urban density. By securing a 74% stake in this venture, Ceigall India strengthens its domestic order book and reaffirms its capacity to manage large-scale, time-sensitive transit infrastructure.
