INDIA —Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited has entered into a strategic green power agreement with Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. to develop a 46.4 MW wind-solar hybrid generation facility in Bhikamkhore, Rajasthan. Under a long-term group captive framework, the installation will combine 20 MW of wind power and 26.4 MWp of solar capacity alongside a 2 MWh Battery Energy Storage System. The generated electricity will be transmitted directly to Nuvoco's regional manufacturing units via the State Transmission Utility Open Access grid network.
Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited is a major Indian commercial and industrial renewable energy provider, managing a contracted portfolio of 6.0 GW across solar, wind, and hybrid assets as of mid-2026. Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. is a leading Indian building materials manufacturer operating across cement, ready-mix concrete, and modern building materials segments with a total production capacity approaching 35 million metric tonnes per annum. The operational partnership reinforces CleanMax's asset base in Rajasthan, where its regional capacity exceeds 525 MW across various green energy assets.
This initiative directly addresses the energy-intensive nature of continuous-process cement manufacturing by delivering dependable, lower-cost renewable power. Powering industrial plants through hybrid green contracts reduces heavy reliance on grid electricity and conventional fossil fuels while buffering heavy manufacturers against grid tariff fluctuations. The integration of battery storage further enhances grid synchronization and power reliability, establishing a reproducible decarbonization framework for energy-heavy industrial sectors.
The long-term agreement aligns with corporate decarbonization commitments by generating approximately 100 million units of renewable electricity every year. Once operational, the hybrid plant is projected to eliminate nearly 62,023 tonnes of Scope 2 carbon dioxide emissions and about 63,463 tonnes of Scope 1 emissions annually. The deployment signals accelerating momentum among corporate power buyers to secure long-term renewable power purchase agreements to manage operational expenses while meeting strict climate targets.
