SP Group A/S has completed the acquisition of UK-based OGM Moulding Ltd. for GBP 18 million to bolster its Northern European presence, establish a UK production base, and enhance its high-precision medical device and box-build manufacturing capabilities.

Danish plastics manufacturer SP Group A/S has completed the acquisition of British subsupplier OGM Moulding Ltd. and its subsidiaries in a transaction valued at GBP 18 million on a cash- and debt-free basis. The deal includes a potential performance-based earn-out of up to GBP 6 million contingent on achieving targeted financial milestones through 2028. Following the acquisition, SP Group revised its full-year revenue growth outlook upward to 24–30% while maintaining existing margin targets.

Headquartered in Denmark, SP Group A/S is a publicly listed international provider of moulded plastic components and surface coatings serving demanding sectors such as healthcare, automotive, and industrial equipment. OGM Moulding Ltd. is a British precision engineering firm founded in 1962 that operates two automated manufacturing facilities in Oxfordshire and South Wales covering 10,000 square meters. The company specializes in technical injection moulding, cleanroom production, and box-build assembly for the medical technology, safety, and transport sectors.

This transaction provides SP Group with its first dedicated manufacturing facilities inside the United Kingdom, establishing a strategic bridgehead to serve British customers locally amidst evolving trade regulations and regional supply chain demands. The acquisition expands SP Group's advanced box-build manufacturing capacity and cleanroom infrastructure while unlocking cross-selling opportunities across both organizations' customer bases without significant duplicate client overlap.

For the broader manufacturing and healthcare equipment sectors, the deal reflects a growing trend toward consolidated nearshoring and integrated development capabilities. Access to OGM's research proximity near Oxford and Cambridge strengthens SP Group's R&D integration, allowing the combined entity to offer global clients cross-border production options and comprehensive, single-source manufacturing services.
