Derayah Financial has committed SAR 244 million to HOF Capital Strategic Opportunities Fund II, allocating an initial SAR 97.5 million. The investment supports Derayah's strategy to launch a dedicated regional AI and technology fund.

SAUDI ARABIA Riyadh-based Saudi financial institution Derayah Financial has committed SAR 244 million to HOF Capital Strategic Opportunities Fund II (Cayman), L.P. An initial tranche of SAR 97.5 million, representing 40 percent of the total commitment, was deployed upon closing on August 28, 2026. The remaining 60 percent of the capital is scheduled for drawdown over the next 24 months through flexible tranches tied to deployment needs, utilizing Derayah's internal resources and existing credit facilities.

Derayah Financial is a Saudi Arabia-based investment firm licensed by the Capital Market Authority, offering brokerage, asset management, and financial advisory services across local, regional, and global markets. The fund receiving the commitment is managed by HOF Capital Management, LLC, targeting a total size of SAR 4.5 billion with a hard cap of SAR 5.625 billion. The underlying vehicle aims to construct a portfolio of roughly 15 growth-stage enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and frontier technology ventures.

This capital allocation underpins Derayah's planned launch of a proprietary multi-strategy technology fund, subject to local regulatory clearances. Once operational, Derayah intends to transfer this LP position into its new fund, allowing its internal asset management division to offer regional institutional and private investors direct exposure to global technology scale-ups.

The transaction highlights the growing deployment of Gulf capital into global artificial intelligence and deep-tech assets. By establishing early access through established venture vehicles, Middle Eastern asset managers are strengthening their private market capabilities while positioning local capital to benefit from the ongoing acceleration of enterprise AI integration worldwide.
