DOF expands APAC offshore backlog with North Australia subsea services contract

DOF Group ASA has secured a large contract in the Asia-Pacific region to provide subsea construction and pre-commissioning support in North Australian waters. Scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, the project strengthens offshore energy activity and supports demand for integrated marine engineering services.

According to an official announcement, DOF Group ASA has been awarded a large contract in the Asia-Pacific region for the provision of Subsea Construction and Pre-Commissioning Support services. Offshore operations will be carried out by the vessel Skandi Inventor, with work scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026 in North Australian waters. The offshore campaign is expected to continue for between 160 and 250 days.

The contract also includes DOF's in-house project management, engineering, procurement, and logistics support services, enabling the company to deliver an integrated execution model throughout the project lifecycle.
