Eltel Norway has secured a five-year partnership with Telenor Norway valued at more than EUR 475 million, covering network expansion, maintenance, upgrades and customer deliveries. With extension options, the arrangement could run for 11 years and reach EUR 1 billion, reinforcing Eltel’s role in Norway’s telecommunications infrastructure.

NORWAY Eltel Norway has secured a long-term partnership agreement with Telenor Norway for the 2026–2031 period, with an estimated value of more than EUR 475 million during the initial five years. The arrangement gives Eltel responsibility for a broad range of contracting activities supporting Telenor’s telecommunications network across Norway.

The agreement includes two three-year extension options. If both are exercised, the partnership could continue for a total of 11 years and reach an estimated value of EUR 1 billion. This creates a longer-term revenue opportunity for Eltel while giving Telenor continuity in the delivery of network-related services.

Under the agreement, Eltel Norway will act as Telenor’s sole supplier for contracting services covering network expansion, corrective and planned maintenance, infrastructure upgrades and customer deliveries. The scope therefore extends across both the development of network infrastructure and the ongoing operational requirements needed to maintain service performance.

The development is significant for Norway’s telecommunications sector because the arrangement places a single service provider at the centre of a substantial portion of Telenor’s field and network contracting requirements. It is expected to support continued investment and modernization of Telenor’s nationwide communications infrastructure, while strengthening operational continuity across the network.

For businesses operating in telecom infrastructure, network engineering, maintenance and related field services, the agreement highlights the scale of long-term outsourcing and supplier partnerships within Norway’s connectivity market. It also provides Eltel with greater visibility over future workload and revenue in its Norwegian communications business, while Telenor gains a long-duration framework for network expansion and maintenance activities.

Eltel is a Nordic infrastructure service provider focused on critical power and communication networks. Telenor is a major telecommunications operator with operations across the Nordic region and Asia, with Norway representing one of its core markets.
