AUSTRALIA —EnerMech has extended its non-destructive testing (NDT) contract with Chevron Australia for another five years, keeping the agreement in place through the end of 2031. The company originally secured the work in 2017 and will continue delivering inspection and asset integrity services across Chevron Australia's operations.
The scope includes advanced NDT, condition monitoring, corrosion and inspection services, statutory inspections, engineering support and specialist asset integrity solutions. These activities are used to assess equipment and infrastructure condition, identify potential integrity issues and support maintenance and operational requirements across energy facilities.
The contract covers operations associated with Chevron Australia's major LNG developments, including Gorgon and Wheatstone. EnerMech's services have supported these assets across commissioning, maintenance, shutdowns and ongoing operations, extending the company's role across multiple stages of the asset lifecycle.
The renewal is relevant to Australia's LNG and broader energy infrastructure sector because inspection and asset integrity services are required to maintain the operational condition of large-scale facilities over extended operating periods. Continued third-party technical support also provides asset owners with access to specialist inspection capabilities for established energy infrastructure.
For EnerMech, the extension maintains its presence within Chevron Australia's operating portfolio and provides continuity for its Australian integrity management activities. For Chevron Australia, the arrangement preserves an established service relationship for inspection and integrity requirements across major LNG assets through 2031.
