ENI expands Indonesia gas portfolio with major offshore discovery in Kutei Basin

ENI has reported a significant offshore gas discovery in Indonesia’s Kutei Basin, reinforcing the region’s role as a key growth hub. ENI has confirmed a substantial gas discovery at the Geliga-1 exploration well in the Ganal block, offshore Indonesia, according to an official statement. The find is estimated to hold around 5 trillion cubic feet of gas and 300 million barrels of condensate, highlighting the resource potential of the Kutei Basin. The well encountered a productive reservoir zone, with further testing planned to determine output capacity.
