GERMANY; SWEDEN —Swedish workforce management provider Ework Group AB has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100 percent of the share capital in Germany-based Astor Technik GmbH for EUR 66000 in cash. While the targeted entity currently maintains no active commercial operations, the strategic purchase provides an operational vehicle to deliver specialized talent solutions under local regulatory frameworks.
Founded in Sweden in 2000, Stockholm-headquartered Ework Group AB operates as a consulting partner and workforce management provider across Northern Europe, maintaining a network of over 240,000 independent contractors across fields including IT, engineering, and business development.
The integration of the German entity enables Ework to secure an AÜG license, a regulatory requirement in Germany that permits temporary staff augmentation and direct operational management of external specialists within client organizations. Acquiring a legal entity equipped for this framework allows the firm to participate in structured Managed Service Provider programs, Vendor Management System procurement frameworks, and master service agreements across the German market.
Germany represents one of Europe's largest consulting and professional staffing markets. Securing localized licensing capabilities allows external workforce vendors to address previously restricted enterprise procurement channels, expanding service delivery models across corporate and public sector clients throughout Central Europe.
By broadening its operational infrastructure to support temporary labor compliance, Ework strengthens its broader expansion strategy across mainland Europe. The move positions the company to capture growing enterprise demand for flexible staffing models and complex contingent workforce advisory services within key industrial hubs.
