Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC has agreed to acquire 10 premium pub properties across London and Bath for 35.25 million GBP. Funded through existing debt facilities, the transaction expands the operator's managed estate in high-density urban locations.

UNITED KINGDOM London-listed hospitality group Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC has secured a deal to purchase 10 iconic pub properties in prime urban locations for a total consideration of 35.25 million GBP. The portfolio acquisition includes nine venues situated in key London postcodes alongside one venue in central Bath. Comprising four freehold and six leasehold properties, the deal values the targeted portfolio at 8.4 times its site EBITDA and will be financed entirely through the buyer's active debt facilities.

This strategic transaction serves as a core expansion effort for Fuller’s managed estate in geographic markets where the enterprise already maintains substantial operating capacity and customer engagement. The venue takeover is intended to reinforce long-term earnings growth by integrating high-performing, established assets into the core business model. Completion of the freehold purchases is scheduled for September, while the transfer of the leasehold sites will proceed incrementally contingent upon individual landlord consents.

The agreement underscores ongoing consolidation within the UK hospitality sector, where well-capitalized pub operators are increasingly target-acquiring high-yielding, premium sites in major metropolitan hubs. By absorbing prominent established venues, regional operators can optimize supply chain efficiencies, drive higher margins per location, and buffer against inflationary pressures affecting the broader food and beverage sector.

For institutional real estate investors and hospitality stakeholders, the transaction reflects sustained confidence in high-footfall commercial real estate and prime drinking establishment assets. The deployment of existing debt capabilities to finance strategic asset rollouts highlights a disciplined capital allocation strategy aimed at expanding market share without equity dilution.

Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC operates as an integrated premium pubs and hotels enterprise across Southern England, managing nearly 200 managed venues alongside a sizable portfolio of tenanted inns and accommodation units.
