SAUDI ARABIA —GAS Arabian Services has announced a contract award from Saudi Power Procurement Company (Principal Buyer) for the establishment of a Sales Gas Delivery System to Ghazlan 1. The contract was awarded on October 7, 2026. GAS did not disclose a fixed contract value, stating instead that the value exceeds 20% of the company’s total revenues for the 2025 financial year, excluding VAT.
Under the agreement, GAS Arabian Services will engineer, procure, supply and deliver all equipment and materials required for the project, as well as undertake construction, installation, testing and commissioning works for the Sales Gas Delivery System to Ghazlan 1. The company did not disclose a specific completion period in the announcement, and no related parties were identified.
The award expands GAS Arabian Services’ involvement in Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure market and adds a sizeable project to its order pipeline. Sales gas delivery systems are an important component of gas-fired power infrastructure, connecting fuel supply arrangements with power generation facilities and supporting reliable fuel delivery for electricity production.
GAS Arabian Services operates in technical and industrial services, with activities covering engineering, energy and industrial solutions and related project execution. Saudi Power Procurement Company is the Kingdom’s Principal Buyer and is responsible for procuring electricity and managing power procurement activities, including arrangements associated with conventional and renewable generation projects.
For the Saudi energy supply chain, the award highlights continued opportunities for engineering, procurement and construction specialists capable of delivering integrated gas and power infrastructure. For GAS, the contract provides additional project visibility and supports its participation in large-scale energy infrastructure works, although the absence of a disclosed monetary value limits assessment of its precise financial contribution.
The project also reflects the broader requirement for supporting infrastructure as Saudi Arabia develops and modernises its power generation system. Contractors with engineering, supply, construction, installation and commissioning capabilities are positioned to participate in related projects as utilities and power procurement entities continue to develop generation and associated fuel infrastructure across the Kingdom.
