Godrej Enterprises Group has been awarded a contract to develop a 98 MW open-access solar power plant in Sirsa, Haryana, according to an official disclosure. The order comes from Hexa Climate Solutions, with Godrej’s energy solutions division tasked with delivering the project on a turnkey basis, covering engineering, procurement and construction. The facility is expected to produce approximately 147 million kWh of electricity each year once operational, while reducing carbon emissions by more than 75,000 tonnes annually.

The installation will deploy bifacial TopCon photovoltaic modules combined with string inverters and digital monitoring systems designed to optimize performance and improve generation efficiency. The development underscores accelerating adoption of open-access renewable power by commercial and industrial consumers seeking cost predictability and decarbonization.
