TeraWulf has secured investment-grade credit support from Google to facilitate project financing for a $19 billion data center lease with Anthropic in Kentucky. Concurrently, the company finalized a guaranteed maximum price engineering, procurement, and construction agreement with Fluor to ensure scalable infrastructure delivery by 2028.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA —TeraWulf Inc. has finalized critical financial and operational agreements to advance its Justified Data Campus in Hawesville, Kentucky. The infrastructure developer secured credit support from Google LLC to underpin debt financing for approximately $19 billion in contracted lease commitments with Anthropic, PBC. In parallel, TeraWulf executed a definitive engineering, procurement, and construction contract with Fluor Enterprises, Inc. on a guaranteed maximum price basis to deliver three new data center facilities.

This dual development substantially mitigates risk in the capital-intensive process of building artificial intelligence infrastructure. By attaching Alphabet’s senior unsecured debt rating to the financing structure, the project gains access to more favorable long-term debt terms. This mechanism directly addresses the high cost of capital that typically constrains large-scale digital infrastructure projects, ensuring that contracted revenue streams can be monetized efficiently during the construction phase.

The broader data center industry faces significant bottlenecks in skilled labor and supply chain reliability. Fluor’s involvement transitions the project from preliminary engineering to full-scale execution, providing TeraWulf with established procurement networks and subcontractor access. With phased operational readiness scheduled between late 2027 and the second quarter of 2028, the agreement mitigates delivery delays that have recently affected hyperscale computing developments across North America.

For institutional investors and technology stakeholders, this transaction highlights a strategic shift in digital infrastructure valuation. Market participants are increasingly prioritizing assets backed by investment-grade counterparties and fixed-cost construction frameworks over speculative development. TeraWulf’s model of pairing long-term power agreements with high-performance computing demand, fortified by top-tier credit enhancements, establishes a viable framework for sustainable infrastructure scaling in the artificial intelligence sector.

TeraWulf Inc. is a United States-based developer and operator of large-scale digital infrastructure, specializing in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence workloads. The company integrates long-term power access with data center operations across facilities in New York, Kentucky, and Maryland.
