Develop Global Limited has awarded a AU$ 275 million engineering, procurement and construction contract to GR Engineering Services Limited for the construction of a processing plant at the Yitirrti project in Western Australia, with completion expected by the June quarter of 2028.

Develop Global Limited has awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract valued at AU$ 275 million to GR Engineering Services Limited to design and build the processing facility at the Yitirrti Copper-Zinc-Silver Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Under the terms of the agreement, GR Engineering will deliver a processing plant with a nameplate capacity of 1.5 million tonnes per annum designed to produce separate copper-silver and zinc concentrates, with target completion set for the June quarter of 2028.

Develop Global Limited is an Australian base metals producer and underground mining services contractor focused on advancing copper, zinc and lithium projects across Australia. GR Engineering Services Limited is an Australia-based engineering consultancy and contracting group specializing in engineering design, procurement and construction services for the mining and mineral processing industries.

The execution of this contract marks a fundamental operational milestone for the Yitirrti project, transitioning the asset from preliminary site preparation to major facility infrastructure development. Securing an established engineering partner ensures project execution remains aligned with Develop Global's broader corporate objective of establishing three cash-generating operating mines across Australia by mid-2028, backed by debt financing and committed offtake agreements with commodity trader Trafigura.

The award reflects ongoing capital expenditure commitments within the critical minerals and base metals sector across Western Australia. fixed-price and structured EPC engagements remain central to mitigating cost inflation and supply chain delays for resource developers, providing investors with enhanced visibility over project delivery timelines and capital expenditure profiles in the global metals market.
