Haryana signed investment agreements totaling INR 660 billion during an outreach event in Mumbai. The initiatives aim to spur economic expansion through specialized industrial clusters, policy support and streamlined project approvals for commercial developments.

INDIA Haryana has secured investment agreements valued at INR 660 billion during an investor outreach summit held in Mumbai. This initiative forms part of the state government's broader strategy to position itself as a premier destination for corporate investment by providing policy stability, rapid administrative clearances and dedicated institutional assistance. To further streamline dispute resolution and balance industrial interests, state authorities established a dedicated council to manage worker-industry relations.

The Government of Haryana is the administrative governing body for the northern Indian state of Haryana, overseeing economic regulation, industrial policy and infrastructure development. The state administration focuses on expanding its regional economic base, which currently contributes approximately 3.6% to national gross domestic product despite covering a compact geographic area.

The state's capital allocation plan centers on geographic diversification across specialized industrial corridors. Under this economic framework, northern Haryana is designated for pharmaceutical manufacturing, agricultural processing, and logistics networks. Central regions are scheduled to expand engineering, automotive, and textile ecosystems, while southern districts, including Gurugram, will target information technology, electronic manufacturing and Global Capability Centers. Western zones are targeted for renewable energy and export-oriented enterprise growth.

This major commitment follows a prior funding round in Gurugram, where agreements amounting to INR 1.10 trillion were executed, with site allocations completed for a vast majority of participating enterprises. For private enterprises and commercial decision-makers, Haryana's structured land distribution model and five-point policy guarantees offer greater regulatory predictability, lower operational friction and improved supply chain integration across the National Capital Region.
