Hearzap has signed an agreement to acquire Amplifon India, adding 240 points of sale to its existing network, creating a combined entity with approximately 420 hearing care centres across India, supported by over 1,000 service providers and targeting ₹5 billion revenue by FY2029.
Hearzap, a hearing care services provider, has signed an agreement to acquire Amplifon India, the Indian arm of Italian hearing care retailer Amplifon, according to a company statement.
The deal is backed by Hearzap’s investor 360 ONE Asset Management. Amplifon India generates annual revenue of approximately ₹120 crore and has nearly 460 service providers. Following the acquisition, the combined entity is expected to operate around 420 hearing care centres across India, supported by more than 1,000 service providers, with post-integration topline revenue projected to exceed ₹230 crore.
This development matters because the acquisition strengthens Hearzap’s position in India’s organised hearing care market by combining its technology-enabled platform with Amplifon India’s clinical expertise and established customer base. Hearzap plans to invest further in audiology talent, customer engagement, and technology-led services.
The company is targeting revenue of approximately ₹250 crore by end of current financial year and aims to scale to nearly ₹500 crore by FY2029, with network footprint approaching 500 hearing care centres by 2027. Industries impacted include hearing healthcare, audiology services, and medical retail.
Regional stakeholders include Indian hearing-impaired populations, audiologists, and competitors in the organised hearing care segment.
For investors, the acquisition creates scale in a fragmented market, with Amplifon India’s established points of sale complementing Hearzap’s technology platform. Integration risks include cultural alignment, service standardisation, and retention of Amplifon’s 460 service providers.
Hearzap is an Indian hearing care services provider offering technology-enabled solutions.
Amplifon is an Italian hearing care retailer headquartered in Milan, operating across more than 25 countries. Amplifon India is its wholly owned subsidiary.
360 ONE Asset Management is an Indian investment firm backing the acquisition.
