Vikram Solar has landed a contract to supply high-efficiency TOPCon solar modules for a utility-scale project in Andhra Pradesh, accelerating commercial deliveries in the final quarter of 2026.

INDIA A major Indian clean energy equipment maker has expanded its footprint in domestic utility-scale renewables after securing a 124 MW solar module supply agreement for a utility installation in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

Under the terms of the domestic agreement signed with Capital Energy, module shipments comprising high-efficiency G12R TOPCon units rated between 620 Wp and 630 Wp are set to begin in October 2026 and complete by the end of the year.

Headquartered in Kolkata, Vikram Solar is a clean technology provider boasting an annual manufacturing capacity of 15.5 GW alongside export channels spanning nearly 40 international markets.

This commercial agreement underscores a broader market transition toward high-efficiency N-type TOPCon technology in utility-scale installations, replacing legacy PV architectures to maximize generation yields per land footprint.

Large-scale procurement of advanced equipment benefits engineering, procurement, and construction providers as well as power generation developers by guaranteeing long-term asset reliability and optimized project economics across regional grids.

For market participants, expanding domestic production capacity combined with consistent contract flow reinforces supply chain resilience while supporting regional renewable integration targets across key industrial corridors.
