Infosys has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT, a healthcare digital transformation firm recognized in the KLAS rankings. The acquisition strengthens Infosys’ provider segment presence, adding domain expertise and expanding AI and cloud offerings for health systems.

Infosys has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT, a firm specializing in digital transformation and consulting for healthcare provider organizations. According to official disclosures, the acquisition is expected to close during the first quarter of FY 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Optimum Healthcare IT holds partnerships including Elite ServiceNow status, Premier AWS, Workday Services, and Microsoft Azure, and received the 2026 ServiceNow Partner of the Year Award.

The transaction is designed to deepen Infosys’ healthcare capabilities by integrating Optimum’s provider-domain expertise with Infosys Topaz AI offerings and Infosys Cobalt cloud services.

The combination expands Infosys’ presence in the provider segment, adding new client relationships and capabilities across health record advisory, implementation, and support, as well as cloud engineering, infrastructure services, cybersecurity, and application transformation. This development matters as it reflects ongoing consolidation in healthcare IT consulting, driven by provider organizations’ demand for integrated cloud, data, and AI solutions to manage operational efficiency and patient care transformation.

Infosys gains specialized provider-focused delivery capabilities and established client trust, while Optimum gains global scale and broader service lines to offer existing clients.

For the healthcare technology and consulting sectors, the acquisition signals increased competition in the provider-facing digital transformation space, where vendors must combine domain depth with enterprise-scale cloud and AI capabilities. Health systems and investors will monitor how the combined entity delivers on AI-led, end-to-end transformation initiatives, particularly in clinical and operational workflows.

Infosys is a global digital services and consulting company, listed on NSE, BSE, and NYSE. Optimum Healthcare IT is a healthcare digital transformation and consulting firm focused on provider organizations, recognized in the Best in KLAS rankings for its delivery model.
