Instalco has secured a multi-year framework agreement with Skanska to deliver electrical, heating, and plumbing installations for educational and sports facilities across Sweden. The collaboration spans from 2026 to 2032, leveraging standardized building concepts to streamline public procurement for municipalities.

SWEDEN —Instalco, through its specialized subsidiaries Bogesunds El & Tele and LG Contracting, has entered into a strategic framework agreement with Skanska covering technical installations for educational facilities. Instalco is a leading Northern European installation company operating through a decentralized network of over 175 subsidiaries, providing comprehensive electrical, heating, plumbing, and ventilation solutions across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Germany. Skanska is a prominent global construction and project development group known for sustainable infrastructure and building solutions.

The six-year partnership, running from 2026 through 2032, stems from a public procurement process initiated by Adda Inköpscentral. This arrangement allows local municipalities throughout Sweden to execute efficient call-off orders for standardized building concepts, specifically utilizing Skanska's Redo concept which includes various pre-designed preschools, schools, and sports halls.

By securing this long-term agreement, Instalco expands its operational footprint in institutional construction, moving beyond electrical services to integrate comprehensive heating and plumbing solutions. This alignment guarantees predictable revenue streams and sustained order volumes for technical contractors within the educational building sector.

The initiative directly impacts municipal authorities, regional construction stakeholders, and specialized engineering contractors by reducing project delivery times and lowering administrative overhead in public procurement. Investors and market analysts view standardized modular frameworks as a vital mechanism for mitigating cost overruns and construction delays in public infrastructure developments.
