MALAYSIA —Kelington Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of integrated engineering solutions provider Kelington Group Berhad, has officially accepted a contract valued at approximately RM 172 million on September 25, 2026. The contract was awarded by an established manufacturing entity located at the Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone in Kuching, Sarawak. Under the terms of the agreement, Kelington Technologies will deliver comprehensive engineering services and early-stage infrastructure development for an advanced data storage manufacturing facility. The scope of work encompasses site development, specialized foundation systems, and critical high-voltage power infrastructure tailored to high-tech manufacturing specifications. Works under the contract commence immediately and are scheduled for completion by August 2027.
This latest award marks a major continuation of the client's broader expansion project in East Malaysia. Prior to this engagement, Kelington Technologies secured various contracts and purchase orders between June and September 2026 valued at RM 111 million for initial design and construction phases. With this new addition, the cumulative order intake from this single customer for the Sarawak development reaches RM 283.00 million, reinforcing Kelington's positioning as a trusted ultra-high purity and engineering services partner. Kelington Group Berhad is an established engineering service provider listed on Bursa Malaysia, offering specialized turnkey solutions in ultra-high purity gas and chemical systems, process engineering, and general contracting across the semiconductor and technology sectors.
The strategic securing of this order underscores the accelerating demand for high-spec engineering infrastructure across Southeast Asia's industrial technology hubs. Regionally, the expansion of advanced manufacturing ecosystems relies heavily on high-precision engineering services capable of supporting specialized industrial needs, such as high-voltage power delivery and continuous infrastructure dependability. This win positions Kelington favorably to capture additional contract packages expected to be rolled out as part of the overall multi-phase manufacturing project in Kuching.
Financially, the award enhances Kelington Group's order book visibility through 2027 and is anticipated to contribute positively to both earnings per share and net asset values across the financial years ending December 31, 2026, and December 31, 2027. Investors and sector analysts view the ongoing momentum in industrial engineering contracts as a critical catalyst for sustained order pipeline growth, solidifying market confidence in specialized engineering firms operating within East Malaysia's growing industrial parks.
