UNITED STATES OF AMERICA —Keller Group has added a $650 million contract variation to its ongoing role in the reconstruction of the I-40 highway in the United States. The company began work on the project in 2025, and the latest agreement builds on multiple work packages already in execution.
The additional award takes Keller's cumulative secured work on the I-40 reconstruction to approximately $1 billion. About 10% of the overall work has been completed to date, while the latest variation is expected to keep Keller engaged on the project for a further three to four years.
The scale and duration of the work are relevant to the US infrastructure and construction sectors, particularly companies involved in major highway reconstruction and geotechnical works. Continued spending on the I-40 corridor also provides a multi-year pipeline of construction activity for contractors and suppliers supporting the project.
For Keller, the award increases its order book to approximately £2.4 billion and strengthens visibility over future project revenue. However, because the additional work will be delivered over several years, the company said the contract does not change its expectations for full-year 2026 results.
