Keong Hong Holdings Limited has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Helios Photovoltaic Sdn Bhd to jointly explore renewable energy, battery storage, and data centre infrastructure projects across multiple international markets, aligning construction capabilities with clean energy development.

SINGAPORE —Keong Hong Holdings Limited has formalised a strategic partnership through a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Helios Photovoltaic Sdn Bhd to jointly identify, evaluate, and pursue green energy and digital infrastructure initiatives. Headquartered in Singapore and established in 1983, Keong Hong is a prominent construction, property development, and investment group listed on the main board of the Singapore Exchange. Helios Photovoltaic, founded in Malaysia in 2010, operates as a multi-market solar and renewable energy developer with a regional footprint spanning Southeast Asia and Europe.

The collaborative framework enables both corporations to jointly investigate commercial opportunities across international jurisdictions, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, and the European Union. Under the proposed terms, Keong Hong may participate in prospective ventures as an execution partner, engineering contractor, or procurement and commissioning specialist, leveraging its extensive engineering background to complement Helios's expertise in photovoltaic technology and power systems.

This strategic alliance targets the rapidly expanding clean energy and digital infrastructure sectors, responding to surging enterprise demand for sustainable power generation, battery energy storage systems, and energy-intensive data centres. By aligning specialized construction competencies with established solar development credentials, the partnership addresses critical market requirements for scalable, low-carbon industrial facilities.

The initiative directly impacts regional engineering, construction, and power utility sectors across Southeast Asia and target European markets by driving deployment opportunities for sustainable power assets. For corporate investors and market stakeholders, the arrangement provides a measured framework for risk-managed expansion into high-growth green technology verticals without premature capital commitment.
