Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has agreed to purchase a 51% controlling interest in Sarvottam Health Care Private Limited for up to ₹800 million. The all-cash transaction secures operational control over a key hospital facility located in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

INDIA —Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) is set to acquire a 51% controlling stake in Sarvottam Health Care Private Limited for a consideration reaching up to ₹800 million. The transaction, structured entirely as a cash investment, transitions KIMS from its former role as an operations and management partner into the primary owner of the target firm. Subject to customary closing conditions, the equity purchase is slated for completion by the end of October 2026.

Sarvottam Health Care operates a 183-bed multi-specialty facility branded as Trust Multi Speciality Hospital in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The infrastructure includes a modern G+7 structure spanning nearly 9,850 square meters. The target company reported a total turnover of ₹848.3 million for FY 2025-26, alongside a net profit of ₹705.5 million and a net worth of ₹503 million. Valuation for the transaction was formally determined by an independent valuation report issued by BDO Valuation Advisory LLP.

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Limited is one of India's leading corporate healthcare groups, operating an extensive chain of multi-specialty hospitals across Southern and Central India. The entity offers advanced tertiary and quaternary care services across a broad range of medical disciplines.

This strategic acquisition strengthens corporate hospital consolidation across Tier-2 and Tier-3 urban centers in India. Demand for high-end tertiary medical services is rising rapidly in non-metropolitan hubs, prompting established healthcare brands to execute inorganic expansion strategies. By securing equity control of an established regional facility, KIMS establishes an immediate, capital-efficient operational base in East Godavari district.

For regional healthcare providers and medical service investors, the deal highlights the increasing premium placed on scaled multi-specialty infrastructure in regional centers. The integration enables KIMS to capitalize on centralized supply chain efficiencies, expand clinical offerings, and build network density within coastal Andhra Pradesh.
