Koryx Copper S.A. has restructured its Zambian joint venture to secure an 80% controlling interest in key exploration licenses across the Copperbelt, positioning itself for aggressive diamond drilling and soil sampling initiatives through late 2026.

LUXEMBOURG; ZAMBIA Exploration firm Koryx Copper S.A. has revised its operational agreement with World Class Mineral Ventures Limited (WCMV) to elevate its equity stake from 51% to 80% in Koryx Copper Zambia Ltd. The subsidiary maintains full ownership over two extensive exploration licenses within the Zambian Copperbelt, covering the Luanshya West and Mpongwe territories. Under the updated contractual terms, Koryx has eliminated all remaining expenditure commitments previously required to complete its earn-in rights, consolidating operational control over the targeted concessions.

Koryx Copper S.A. is an international mineral resource exploration company registered in Luxembourg and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Namibian Stock Exchange. The enterprise focuses on identifying, acquiring, and developing high-grade copper deposits across prime African mining jurisdictions.

The ownership consolidation coincides with the launch of a 2,500-meter maiden diamond drilling campaign at the Luanshya West site, designed to evaluate up to four primary targets reaching vertical depths between 100 meters and 250 meters. Concurrently, field teams are executing broader exploration programs at Mpongwe, which include collecting roughly 3,000 soil samples to refine prospective drill targets before the end of the year.

Securing majority control over critical battery-metal assets enhances long-term resource security for international supply chains reliant on copper for energy transition technologies. By taking direct control over early-stage drilling schedules, Koryx minimizes counterparty friction and accelerates project de-risking in Africa's premier copper-producing hub.

For global mining investors and industrial consumers, Zambia represents a strategic target for critical mineral capital due to favorable regulatory framework adjustments and high sub-surface endowment. Consolidating ownership without further capital earn-in hurdles improves corporate capital efficiency, allowing direct deployment of equity toward high-impact subsurface testing.
