KPI Green Energy has secured a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction contract worth approximately INR 20.25 billion for a 500 MW solar photovoltaic project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Scheduled for completion within 12 months, the project strengthens the company's execution footprint in India's utility-scale renewable energy sector.

INDIA —KPI Green Energy has received a major turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction work order valued at roughly INR 20.25 billion from NACOF Oorja. The agreement covers the complete design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 500 MW AC solar photovoltaic system at a large-scale power park in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The contract scope encompasses civil works, photovoltaic modules, inverters, high-tension switchgear, a 33 kV transmission line, evacuation facilities, and advanced supervisory control systems, with execution targeted for completion within 12 months from site handover.

This landmark order provides substantial multi-quarter top-line visibility for the Gujarat-headquartered renewable power producer, boosting its overall project pipeline. Founded to focus on utility-scale solar and hybrid projects, KPI Green Energy operates as both an independent power producer and a third-party engineering services provider. The new contract builds directly upon the company's existing balance of system portfolio in Northern India, consolidating its market share in utility engineering.

The project represents a notable expansion within India's clean energy landscape, where large utility parks are central to meeting national decarbonization targets and expanding grid capacity. Bikaner has emerged as a key geographic node for renewable installations due to high solar irradiance and strategic land availability. For EPC operators and equipment vendors, multi-megawatt developments of this scale drive demand across the entire supply chain, including photovoltaic module manufacturers, electrical switchgear suppliers, and grid integration specialists.

From an operational standpoint, securing large-scale turnkey contracts allows energy infrastructure contractors to achieve significant economies of scale and reinforce revenue growth. However, rapid expansion in the EPC segment requires disciplined capital management, timely supply chain execution, and careful mitigation of equipment cost fluctuations to maintain operational margins. Successfully executing this multi-billion rupee installation will solidify KPI Green Energy's position among major engineering players serving India's transition toward clean energy.
