L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore has secured an ultra-mega EPCIC contract from ADNOC Offshore to lead a consortium delivering offshore energy infrastructure in the Middle East. The project includes new offshore facility development, upgrades to existing assets, and extensive fabrication work, reinforcing demand for large-scale offshore engineering services in the region.

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore) has been awarded an ultra-mega contract by ADNOC Offshore to lead a consortium executing a major offshore energy infrastructure project in the Middle East, according to an official announcement. The project covers the development of multiple offshore facilities, with LTEH Offshore responsible for the majority of the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) activities, alongside the modernization of existing offshore infrastructure.

A substantial share of the fabrication scope will be carried out at L&T's fabrication facilities before offshore installation. The combination of new infrastructure development and brownfield upgrades is intended to support the expansion and continued operation of offshore production assets while integrating new facilities with existing infrastructure.

The award highlights continued investment in offshore oil and gas infrastructure across the Middle East, where operators are expanding production capacity while extending the operational life of existing assets. The contract is expected to generate demand across engineering, fabrication, offshore installation, marine logistics and industrial supply chains supporting large-scale EPCIC projects.

For engineering and construction companies, the project reflects sustained opportunities in offshore energy development despite ongoing energy transition initiatives, particularly in regions where hydrocarbons remain central to economic growth. Investors and suppliers may view the contract as an indicator of continued capital expenditure on upstream infrastructure and associated industrial services.

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore is the offshore engineering and EPCIC business of Larsen & Toubro, specializing in offshore oil and gas infrastructure, including platform construction, subsea developments, brownfield modifications and integrated offshore project execution. ADNOC Offshore is part of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and is responsible for the development and operation of the company's offshore oil and gas assets.
