Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm has bagged multiple contracts for residential and hospitality developments in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka. The projects include ultra-high-rise residential towers in Mumbai and Hyderabad, alongside a luxury hotel and villa complex in Karnataka, reflecting robust demand in India’s premium real estate and hospitality sectors.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Buildings & Factories business has secured a series of construction mandates for major residential and hospitality developments spanning Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka. According to official disclosures, the scope involves high-rise residential towers, luxury villas, and a premium hotel project. In Mumbai, the company will construct a 260-metre luxury residential tower in the Worli district, featuring 63 floors and five basements. Simultaneously, the firm has been tasked with the design and construction of 10 residential towers in Hyderabad, each reaching a height of 180 metres with 55 floors. The third component involves the development of a luxury hotel and residential villas in Karnataka, encompassing structural shell and core work alongside architectural finishes.

Larsen & Toubro is a Mumbai-headquartered Indian multinational engaged in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects across global infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. These developments underscore the intensifying demand for high-density, luxury urban living in India’s Tier-1 cities. For the construction sector, the projects highlight a technical shift toward ultra-high-rise structures that require specialized engineering capabilities. The expansion of luxury hospitality and premium residential assets in these regions signals sustained capital investment in the real estate sector.

For investors and stakeholders, this trend confirms a robust pipeline for large-scale urban infrastructure, particularly as developers prioritize vertical expansion to optimize land use in high-value metropolitan corridors.
