INDIA —Lineage Power Private Limited, a material subsidiary of Pace Digitek Limited, has secured a landmark contract valued at Rs. 4.88 billion from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited (NGSL) for the BESS Project at Barh STPP across NTPC Stages I and II. The project scope encompasses the complete supply, delivery, testing, supervision of erection, and commissioning of 5.015 MWh Battery Energy Storage System containers, integrated alongside advanced Battery Management Systems and Energy Management Systems. Additionally, the contract mandates five years of Annual Maintenance Services and a further seven-year extended warranty for the battery containers, ensuring robust lifecycle support.
This major procurement action accelerates India's clean energy transition by deploying large-scale energy storage solutions necessary to manage grid intermittency and stabilize renewable energy output.
