Madhya Pradesh has secured investment proposals worth over INR 530 billion during an executive trade delegation to the UAE, targeting high-growth sectors such as green hydrogen, renewable energy, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.

INDIA An official state delegation from Madhya Pradesh has secured foreign investment proposals surpassing INR 530 billion during strategic engagements with global institutional investors in Dubai. The capital commitments target critical emerging sectors, including green hydrogen infrastructure, utility-scale solar portfolios, artificial intelligence data facilities and advanced manufacturing operations.

State government leadership conducted target-focused meetings with prominent international private equity and corporate leaders during the deployment. Among the primary commitments, Rana Holdings outlined an intent to invest roughly INR 352 billion across a 2,000 MW solar power footprint, a 200 MW green hydrogen module, a dedicated AI computing hub, and integrated mineral recovery facilities. Concurrently, NIDI Services DMCC/SCNELL presented a conceptual outlay of approximately INR 180 billion to develop a sovereign artificial intelligence complex.

Madhya Pradesh is a central state in India serving as a key industrial and agricultural manufacturing geographic zone. The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation is the state's apex investment promotion agency responsible for executing land allocation, single-window regulatory clearances, and industrial park management for domestic and international ventures.

These multi-sector commitments mark a significant expansion of foreign direct investment into central India, transitioning capital allocation beyond traditional urban technology hubs into emerging tier-two regions. By establishing dedicated clean energy and computing infrastructure, the regional authority aims to strengthen supply chain resiliency, integrate regional agriculture with global markets, and foster high-skilled domestic job generation.

The policy alignment reflects broader national economic goals targeting carbon neutrality and artificial intelligence sovereignty. For institutional investors and global industrial enterprises, these ventures present substantial opportunities for long-term power purchase contracts, logistics hub co-development, and technology transfer arrangements across south Asian infrastructure networks.
