SAUDI ARABIA —Maharah Human Resources Company announced that Saudi Medical System (SMS)-an associate company in which Maharah's wholly-owned subsidiary, Growth Avenue Investment Company, holds a 40 percent equity interest-has received a formal tender award decision from the Health Affairs of the Ministry of National Guard.
The multi-million-dollar agreement entails the provision, preparation, management, and operation of comprehensive food and catering services across all health affairs facilities of the Ministry throughout the Kingdom. The contract carries a total value of SAR 669.65 million, inclusive of value-added tax, spanning a duration of five years.
This substantial contract win underscores the growing commercial activity within the regional healthcare support services sector. By securing a long-term agreement with a prominent governmental health authority, the involved entities solidify their operational standing in large-scale institutional catering and facility management.
The award highlights the ongoing expansion of public-private collaborations within Saudi Arabia's healthcare infrastructure. Outsourcing essential non-medical support functions allows major health institutions to streamline operations while opening lucrative avenues for specialized service providers and their corporate backers.
For investors and market participants, the agreement demonstrates the financial upside of strategic associate investments in high-demand service sectors. Although the award remains subject to final regulatory formalities, including performance guarantees and contract execution, the anticipated financial impact is expected to bolster Maharah's consolidated results upon project rollout.
