MCE Holdings Berhad has secured a 40-month supply contract valued at MYR 54.28 million from PERODUA. The agreement covers the supply of automotive electronics and mechatronic components, including audio display, reverse camera, and ADAS-related systems for an internal combustion engine vehicle model.

MALAYSIA MCE Holdings Berhad, through its wholly owned subsidiary Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Bhd, has secured a 40-month supply contract valued at MYR 54.28 million from Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (PERODUA). Under the terms of the agreement, the company will supply a range of automotive electronics and mechatronic components, including audio display units, reverse cameras, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)-related components for an internal combustion engine (ICE) model.

This contract marks MCE’s initial foray into supplying vehicle audio display and ADAS-related systems specifically for an ICE vehicle. Building on its existing capabilities in electric vehicle (EV) infotainment systems, the deal expands the supplier's portfolio into higher-value automotive electronics. Production is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of MCE’s financial year ending July 31, 2027. Manufacturing operations will take place at the newly launched MCE Auto Hub in Serendah, Selangor, following an estimated total investment cost of MYR 4.95 million.

The agreement underscores the ongoing effort within Malaysia's automotive sector to increase the localization of complex electronics and advanced vehicle components. By expanding local supply chains for critical mechatronic systems and driver-assistance features, the project supports broader national initiatives aimed at positioning Malaysia as a competitive regional hub for next-generation vehicle technology.

For MCE, securing this supply arrangement enhances plant capacity utilization at its Serendah facility and strengthens its long-term commercial partnership with PERODUA. Moving further up the automotive value chain allows the company to capitalize on growing demand for integrated electronic assemblies in both internal combustion and electrified vehicle platforms across regional markets.

MCE Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based Tier-1 automotive supplier specializing in the engineering, design, and manufacturing of automotive electronics and mechatronic components. Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (PERODUA) is one of Malaysia's leading automobile manufacturers, producing compact vehicles, engine components, and driving local automotive supply chain development.
