Japanese offshore contractor MODEC has awarded UK-based software company Asset55 a contract to deploy its data validation and project execution software for the Gato Do Mato floating production storage and offloading vessel. Situated offshore Brazil, the energy development aims to produce 120,000 barrels of oil daily starting in 2029.

Offshore engineering contractor MODEC has engaged software provider Asset55 to supply digital workflow and data verification systems for the Gato Do Mato Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) development located in the Orca field offshore Brazil. Under the agreement, Asset55 will implement its software platforms to manage project information and streamline multi-phase execution tasks during the vessel's construction and deployment phases. The production unit is designed to achieve a maximum daily output of 120,000 barrels of crude oil upon its scheduled operational launch in 2029.
