INDIA —Moneyview Limited has injected INR 2.5 billion into its wholly owned subsidiary, Whizdm Finance Private Limited (WFPL), via an equity share subscription. This capital infusion aims to augment the lending subsidiary's financial foundation and support ongoing business expansion initiatives funded through the parent entity's initial public offering.

The capital injection involves the issuance of 800,000 equity shares at a price of INR 3,125 per share, consisting of a face value of INR 10 and a premium of INR 3,115 per share on a rights basis. Following this transaction, Whizdm Finance Private Limited (WFPL) remains a wholly owned subsidiary of Moneyview Limited, ensuring no alterations to the existing shareholding structure or ownership control.

Moneyview Limited operates as a financial services company offering diverse credit and lending solutions through its technological platforms and corporate subsidiaries. Whizdm Finance Private Limited (WFPL) functions as a non-deposit-taking non-banking financial company authorized to conduct lending and advance operations, having reported a turnover of INR 15.17 billion for the financial year ending March 31, 2026.

This financial allocation holds substantial significance for the corporate group's broader market strategy, directly aligning with objectives outlined in Moneyview's initial public offering documentation. By strengthening the subsidiary's capital reserves, the organization enhances its capacity to scale retail lending operations and capture growing credit demand within the domestic market.

The transaction falls under regulatory exemptions concerning related-party transactions between a parent corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary whose financial statements undergo consolidation. Market participants and institutional investors view the equity infusion as a calculated step to fortify liquidity and expand operational bandwidth within the non-banking financial sector.
