NORWAY; SWEDEN —Nordic technical installation provider Nimlas Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Erling Olsen AS, an established Norwegian plumbing contractor based in Tvedestrand. Under the terms of the deal, the acquired business will maintain its current branding, operational leadership, and workforce while integration into the parent organization provides access to expanded group resources.
Erling Olsen AS brings a staff of 34 employees and annual revenues of approximately NOK 115 million into the transaction. Founded in 1962, the firm specializes in commercial and residential sanitation, heating systems, sprinkler installations, and ongoing facility maintenance, alongside complex technical deliveries for critical infrastructure including data centers.
Nimlas Group operates as a leading Nordic technical installation platform providing building services across Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The Stockholm-headquartered group focuses on building services engineering, HVAC solutions, electrical installations, and specialized plumbing through a decentralized local operating model.
The deal represents the platform's first dedicated plumbing acquisition in Norway, following earlier expansion into broader HVAC and technical services through the purchases of Teca and Tekniskbureau in 2025. This transaction aligns with the group's long-term strategy to scale revenue from SEK 10 billion to SEK 40 billion while broadening geographical reach into four new markets by 2031.
Increasing focus on energy efficiency, structural renovation requirements, and specialized infrastructure complexity continues to drive demand for integrated technical building solutions across Europe. Consolidating specialized installation capabilities position service providers to capture higher-value maintenance and retrofit projects across commercial real estate, data center, and public infrastructure sectors.
