OnEMI Technology Solutions, the parent company of digital lending platform Kissht, has secured board approval to raise INR 8.32 billion through a preferential share allotment to prominent institutional investors, allocating 75% of funds to scale its lending subsidiary Si Creva Capital Services.

INDIA OnEMI Technology Solutions Limited has approved a preferential equity issuance to raise up to INR 8.32 billion from institutional investors, including Axis Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, White Oak, 360 One, Groww Mutual Fund, and Bandhan Mutual Fund. Under the proposed structure, the company will channel 75% of the new equity capital into its wholly owned lending subsidiary, Si Creva Capital Services Private Limited, while reserving the remaining 25% for general corporate requirements.

The sizeable equity infusion significantly enhances the capital base of the non-banking financial technology sector, providing critical liquidity to support expanding loan books without increasing leverage. By strengthening its balance sheet prior to upcoming rating reviews, the firm positions itself for favorable credit ratings over the next two years. Higher credit scores typically lower borrowing expenses across wholesale debt markets, allowing consumer lending platforms to reduce funding costs and broaden capital sourcing.

For fintech lenders operating in India's evolving financial ecosystem, robust equity capital buffers are increasingly essential to maintain competitive pricing, absorb macroeconomic volatility, and satisfy regulatory capital adequacy standards. The capital deployment allows Si Creva Capital Services to accelerate technological updates, diversify its consumer credit offerings, and expand market penetration across underserved consumer segments.

OnEMI Technology Solutions Limited operates Kissht, a digital finance platform providing technology-driven consumer credit services across India. The non-banking financial technology firm processes instant loans through data-led credit underwriting models.
